Amity Durham 

Executive Director, New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet

 

 

Amity Durham is an Executive Director in the New South Wales Department of Premier and Cabinet. She leads the NSW Behavioural Insights Unit, the first dedicated Unit of its kind in Australia, which is undergoing a significant expansion in 2015-16. In her current role Amity also leads a range of cross government reform initiatives, including social impact investment, strategic commissioning, and multi-agency local service delivery reform.

 

Amity has previously held other senior executive roles in the NSW government within central and line agencies. She has also held the role of Director in a top-tier management consulting firm, where she advised a range of social sector government agencies across Australia. Amity has an academic background in social sciences and law, and holds an Executive Masters Degree in Public Administration.
