FAQ

The BX2015 conference is a not-for-profit conference. Two thirds of the tickets for the event have either been given away (to academics and government officials), or at subsidised rates (including to students, charities and governments). Our remaining tickets are the more expensive tickets, that are helping to subsidise the event for those who would not have been able to attend.

When is BX2015?

BX2015 will be held on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd September 2015. Timings are being finalised, however we expect doors to open at approximately 09:00 both days and close at approximately 18:00. There will also be an evening drinks reception open to attendees on the evening of Wednesday 2nd September at Skylon, near the conference venue.

Where do I find the Programme?

A full provisional programme is available here. Click here for a list of confirmed speakers and Twitter and Facebook for regular updates. All ticket holders will receive an email notification with confirmation and updates on a regular basis.

Can I book individual sessions?

You cannot buy tickets for individual sessions. The conference ticket gives you access to all sessions. If you wish to attend a specific parallel session, please make sure to arrive well on time as places to parallel sessions will be allocated on a first come first serve basis according to room capacity.

The venue is the Park Plaza Hotel Westminster Bridge, 200 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7UT, United Kingdom.

Will there be a cloakroom for luggage for attendees?

Cloakroom facilities will be provided by the hotel Concierge facilities near the registration and main conference room.

What are the different ticketing arrangements and costs?
All tickets are now sold out. We were selling tickets through the online registration system Billetto. All ticket related enquiries for tickets bought before selling out should be directed to

support@billetto.co.uk.

TICKETING

Please note, these prices:

Include VAT (Value Added Tax changed at 20%), but exclude the booking fee which will also be charged by Billetto.
Do not include Travel and Accommodation Costs. Please visit our accommodation and transport & travel pages for further details.
Your ticket includes free entry to the drinks reception on Wednesday 2 September 2015 at Skylon.

Are there group discounts?

Organisations that buy 5 or more Corporate Rate tickets will receive a 10% discount on the total value of the purchase. There are no group discounts for the two other ticket categories (student and government/academic/public sector/charities).

When will tickets be available / will more tickets be available?

Tickets were made available from 9th February 2015 and are allocated on a first come, first served basis. All tickets have now sold out.

Is there a student discount?

A number of student tickets were released at ticket launch and have now sold out.

Can I purchase group tickets?

All group tickets have now sold out.

When and how can I collect my tickets?

All BX2015 tickets are electronic, sent to customers via email from Billetto. If you do not receive an email upon purchasing a ticket, email support@billetto.co.uk.

What happens if I lose my ticket?

If you are unable to retrieve your e-ticket, please present yourself at the information desk located adjacent to the registration desk and a member of staff will verify your purchase. You will receive your conference pack, agenda and badge at the registration desk on Day 1 of the conference.

I’m having trouble purchasing a ticket, who do I contact?

General ticket enquiries for tickets before selling out should be directed to support@billetto.co.uk.

What happens if I can no longer attend the event?

You may substitute delegates at any time by providing reasonable advance notice. Please let us know by emailing bx2015@behaviouralinsights.co.uk.

If you are unable to attend, and you are not in a position to transfer your place to another person then the following cancellation terms apply:

Registrations cancelled on or before the 19th July 2015 will receive a full refund on the ticket price, minus any fees.
Registrations cancelled after the 19th July 2015 will not be eligible for a refund.

If you substitute to a delegate who is not eligible for your category of ticket we reserve the right to charge an additional fee to reflect the difference between the two categories.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

No tickets can be bought on the day.

Does my ticket include accommodation

Travel and accommodation are not included in the conference fee; however, we have secured a number of rooms at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge and other hotels located nearby. Please visit our accommodation page for further details.

ACCOMMODATION

Is the venue fully accessible by wheelchair?

Yes, all areas of the venue are accessible to wheelchair users.

If I have additional requirements or questions, who do I notify?

Behavioural Insights Team is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. Behavioural Insights Team shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather or other emergency.

Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, the Behavioural Insights Team reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
