Bobby Duffy

Managing Director, Ipsos MORI

 

 

Bobby Duffy is Managing Director of the Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute and Global Director of the Ipsos Social Research Institute (covering work in 25+ countries). He is Visiting Senior Research Fellow, in the Policy Institute at King’s College London and Chair of Steering Group for King’s Ipsos MORI partnership. He has in the past been seconded to the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) at LSE and the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit.

 

He is a trustee of the Lankelly Chase Foundation, a grant-giving foundation focused on severe and multiple disadvantage. He has also served on a number of expert advisory groups, for example, CLG Expert Panel, CLG Housing expert panel, Advisory Board University of York History Department, advisory groups for projects in Demos,  ippr, the RSA and the Policy Advisory Board for the ESRC Understanding Society project.  He has been named as one of the top 10 thought leaders in local government.

 

He has written widely about public perceptions of key social issues, including for the Wall Street Journal, Guardian, Sunday Times, Prospect, Progress, New Statesman, Political Quarterly and many others - and appeared on most major broadcast outlets including Today, Newsnight, WATO, BBC and ITN News at 10, BBC News at 6, Sky News, BBC News Channel, CNBC, CNN, Bloomberg and many others.
