Gabrielle Walker

Gabrielle Walker is Chief Scientist of strategic advisory firm Xynteo, where she works at C-level with a wide range of global companies on creating solutions for low-carbon and resource-efficient growth.

 

She has a PhD in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and has been Professor at Princeton University and is co-author, with Sir David King, of the bestselling book The Hot Topic, on the energy crisis and climate change. The book was described by Al Gore as “a beacon of clarity” and by The Times as “a material gain for the axis of good”.

 

She has written three other books: Snowball Earth, An Ocean of Air, and Antarctica and her books have been published in more than 20 countries and translated into more than a dozen languages.

 

Gabrielle has presented many programmes and series for BBC radio and television and has written for a host of international newspapers and magazines including The Economist, the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
