Raj Chande

Senior Advisor, Behavioural Insights Team

 

 

 

Raj is a Senior Advisor on the Education and Skills team. He is currently focused on improving numeracy and literacy levels among young adults, but has previously also worked on school funding and widening participation in higher education. Prior to joining the team, Raj worked in finance as an equities trader for 9 years, resigning in 2010 to take an MSc in Economics and Public Policy at University of Bristol. Raj is now undertaking a PhD at Bristol on the Economics of Education, with a particular focus on testing models of parent engagement with randomised controlled trials.
 

Raj joined the team as a Research Fellow in 2012 and was made a Senior Advisor in 2014.
