Simon Hill

Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Opower

 

 

Simon Hill is Opower’s Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Working with over 90 utility partners and serving more than 50 million consumers across three continents, Opower is the world's leading provider of customer engagement solutions for the utility industry. Simon leads Opower’s external engagement operations across the region working with stakeholders and governments in order to drive energy efficiency. 

 

Simon is a graduate of the University of Durham and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.  He joined the British Army after completing his academic studies and was deployed in combat operations around the globe. After leaving the Army, Simon worked as an advisor to the British Conservative Party where he helped to formulate policy, lead campaigns and supported senior politicians across the Party. After working in consultancy, Simon joined Cerner, an S&P500 healthcare technology corporation, as Head of Corporate Affairs and Strategy.  He has extensive experience in business development, strategy, regulation and communications.
