Zhi Soon

Principal Advisor & Head of Education and Skill, The Behavioural Insights Team

 

 

Zhi Soon is a Principal Advisor, and head of BIT’s Education and Skills Team. As part of this role, he serves as Director of the Behavioural Research Centre for Adult Skills and Knowledge (ASK). Before joining the team in London, he worked in the New South Wales (Australia) Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Behavioural Insights Unit, where he led the team’s work on education, tax and fines.

 

Prior to this, Zhi was an Australian diplomat, working on a range of international issues, which included a posting to Afghanistan. He has also worked in the Media Unit of the Australian Prime Minister’s Office, served on the New South Wales Board of Studies and worked as a Management Consultant. Zhi’s academic background is in law and political science.
